When some were talking about the Temple, remarking how it was adorned with fine stonework and votive offerings, he said, ‘All these things you are staring at now — the time will come when not a single stone will be left on another; everything will be destroyed.’

Et quibusdam dicentibus de templo quod bonis lapidibus et donis ornatum esset dixit
Haec quae videtis venient dies in quibus non relinquetur lapis super lapidem qui non destruatur

In quel tempo, mentre alcuni parlavano del tempio, che era ornato di belle pietre e di doni votivi, Gesù disse: «Verranno giorni nei quali, di quello che vedete, non sarà lasciata pietra su pietra che non sarà distrutta».
